I Don't Know Much, But I Know I Love You....

This is our Wedding song, It's by Linda Ronstadt and Aaron Neville. We chose it because the lyrics are very applicable to us.

    So Long Ago....

I'm almost 70 and remarried (for the last six years) at the JP's office.  My first marriage, though, was the usual bride-walks-down-aisle, etc.  My husband and I each named a song we wanted.  Mine was "How Do I Love Thee" from the poem of Elizabeth...

Only the Most Popular Wedding Song Ever

My official wedding song is "At Last" - Etta James.  I wanted a song that we would hear often, and be able to say this is our song. But my unofficial wedding is "Some People"- LeAnn Rimes.

    Mine Was a Sad One.

Well 32 years ago I made the mistake of inviting my parents to my wedding - they got drunk and rowdy so our wedding  song was - Ball Room Blitz by Sweet. Cheers!

    We Had Two.

We had several played before the actual wedding. But the two I picked out specially were "The Rose" by Bette Midler and "Through the Eyes of Love" which was the theme song from a late 70's movie titled Ice Castles. For the life of me I can't remember what...

    Stand By Me

I think it expresses the perfect sentiment of a marriage. There will be times when the world is falling apart around you, but you MUST support each other.

    They Couldn't Make It

I can't say this is a wedding song, it's our song, or one of our songs.  If the Eagles could have come and played this at our wedding, it would have been great, but they had a previous engagement... Anyway, my wife and I have accumulated many wonderful songs over the years...
