    It's just too much effort to attempt it.

    I just want to learn it so then I know what the songs I listen to mean in English without having to search the lyrics. It would also benefit me for the amount of anime that I watch.

    I used to live in Akita,

    Japan. I really miss it and have always wanted to go back. I picked up some Japanese while I was there. I've lost a lot of it. I haven't really had to use it in a long time. I wish I had more time in my day to practice.

    I like to learn lanugage in general,

    and now am focusing on japanese. I only know some easy phrases and kana. I also really want to travel to japan, so am planning to take a lanugage school year in japan to really learn the lanugage and explore the culture.
