I always go barefoot in the house

but as a child my mother had an odd house rule; shoes came off at the door, but I had to keep my socks on from the time I got dressed in the morning until bathtime, just before bed, or bedtime if I skipped a bath. This rule applied even at other people's houses.

No Reason for Shoes & Socks

Ever since I was a baby I have always loved the feel(sensation) of many different surfaces under my barefeet, Which is one reason why I always want to take off my shoes & socks & go barefoot.( & I still do.). I love the texture of carpeting, hardwood floors, grass(freshly cut grass...

    Walking Barefoot

I love to be barefoot especially on the beach or in the grass.  I love how the different textures make my feet feel.  I get cold chills when I walk across grass that has just been mowed.

    I would take my shoes

and socks off everywhere to show off my pedicure. but I'm super foot shy; you'd need a crowbar to pry them off my feet. lol :-)

I always wore shoes and socks

as a kid. Everywhere. Even in the heat of summer. That all changed one warm summer day. I was out with friends and came home for a bit to cool off. My sneakers were a bit warm so I slipped them off, thinking I'd just relax for a few in sock feet. When I happened to look down at...

Sometimes going down to the park is

so relaxing; just laying on the grass looking up at the clouds. I normally do go in flip flops but its not summer yet so I'm stuck with my conserves thats okay though. With those and my thermal socks they keep my feet warm in this cold weather. So I would if I could but I can't...

    Shoes To Socks

I personally like the feel of a good pair of socks on my feet, ecspecially on a cold day.... Like for instance... Today I was out, and when I got home my girlfriend made me sit down in the arm chair, and put my feet up. She then took my boots off and massaged my socked feet!! She...

    Yesterday At Work

Since I work at an accounting office, I am required to work on Saturdays until the Aril 15th deadline. Yesterday I had to do an errand to the post office when I got caught in a sudden downpour. WHen I got back to the office, my shoes and socks were soaking wet. After doing a few...

    After Work

I got home from a ten hour shift this morning -- ten straight hours of being on my feet, moving around, cleaning, counting, getting things ready for the morning.  I walk both to and from work, too, which is actually nice.  It's only six blocks, but it sure helps.  Anyway...

    Almost Bareefoot All the Time

I am always barefoot or almost barefoot all the time.  If I am wearing shoes it is flip flops.  I do put on my snealjers when I go out to do something athletic, but otherwise, I can see my toes all the time!

    Off They Go!

I don't actually wear socks, but when I am forced into shoes by the powers that be, I am always looking for a way to get them off again as soon as possible. At work, for example, I slide them off under the desk and no one is the wiser. [edit] I wrote this a long time ago, and...

That ahhhh when you take your socks off

after a long day in the foot prisons is a wonderful feeling. In fact the only feelings better are bare soles & toes in cool mud or walking on wet gristly asphalt after rain
