I Want to Talk About Religion Peacefully

A place to peacefully discuss and share beliefs. =) 1,122 People

I would really like to talk with Hindus on here

who worship Goddess Durga or Goddess Kali or any of the Goddesses. Here in North America if you worship Goddesses you are probably some crazy queer feminist Pagan like me, but in India it is normal. I would love to know more about what that feels like.

    Comparative Religions

I just completed a Comparative Religions course at my college. I would have to say it is one of the best classes I have ever taken. It made me think about the bigger picture--that is, the bigger picture of all the different people, cultures, and belief systems in the world.I...

I AM NOT trying to start a debate about whether

or not the line I am about to quote is true. But, here is that line from a sermon I heard recently. "What you see from Al Quieda, Boka Harem, and ISIS, is true Islam. The peace loving Muslims are the nominal Muslims". Even if every syllable of that statement is true, other...

    Man Made Label

Putting an infinite God in a box is most unwise. When you cage the beast, the beast gets angry. Man's attempt to reach God while holding back simultaneously is counterproductive and produces a stalemate. Labeling what you cannot quantify is nonsense. Besides, the path to God is...
