The Amazing Portable Solar System - The RPS Power Cube

I am a solar system designer. I recently saw a really great idea for a solar system on wheels! It is called the RPS Power Cube. It is a complete 1880 watt solar system with a 6000 watt Xantrex inverter, a 48 volt battery bank and an 1880 watt solar array on a rack that folds...

    Alternative Energies

Hi. I'm hoping to move house this year and one of the first things I want to do is arrange an alternative or backup power supply. I'm probably going to have to do most of it on my own, but I know it's dangerous to mess with immersion elements in boilers so will probably end up...

    It annoys me so much

when people install solar panels on the ground. There are already so many houses taking up space where plants could grow, why take up more? Every roof should be covered in solar panels, and there should be NONE on the ground.

    Solar Cooker

If you are interested in "going green" goood for you. But I found the benefits of going green by use of solar cooking to be "in my pocket" money savings. A solar oven can be anywhere anytime that the sun shines, can be build inexpensivly at home using mostly recycled materials...

    Nuclear Power No Thanks!

Seems the British government are continuously wedded to the nuclear power route. I think they are planning to build twelve new ones. Seems incredibly dangerous to me, I would much rather see a future of renewable energy sources like solar power, wind and hydro. It would be so...

I visited a solar power park near Karlstad,

Sweden and it was awesome. The future of our planet depends on the way we consume our energy resources and on the way we treat our environment.
