    Love Rock

I am a die hard rocker...I've seen a lot of concerts...some sucky seats, some good seats. The only thing I have never done that I would love to is actually meet one of the bands I like. It has never been in the cards for me to do that...yet.

    Old Timer

I first saw Van Halen in 1978 in Sacramento when they were the opening band for Black Sabbath. Met a gal there who worked at a pharmacy and had a purse full of treats. She rode my shoulders thru most of the show since she'd gotten me amped enough that I didn't...

    Definitely Indie Back Then ...

My ex-husband was a drummer and together with some friends put together a band.  They decided to release a single (this was in 1977/78) and having tried in vain to get a label to take it on board and release it, we formed our own indie label.  The single was produced by...

    Speaking of Aerosmith ...

A great show I went to (not sure of the year but possibly 1990?) was at the Marquee in the West End of London where Aerosmith did a private gig - all the hits were played, great stuff and Jimmy Page got up on stage to play a few numbers with them. Icons don't come much...

    Bauhaus

I guess this seminal goth rock crew should be included in the Lounge.  I knew David and Kevin (brothers on bass and drums) very well and they worked with musicians on our label after Bauhaus broke up.  I remember the first show I saw Bauhaus perform - at the Lyceum...
