I remember the H1N1 "swine flu" season of 2009 very well. People were rushing out to get vaccinated, scared half to death by the mainstream media which was pushing false reports that the swine flu would kill tens of millions of people and that only a vaccine could save you. The...

    100 Years Of Medical Fascism

One hundred years ago today, on April 16, 1910, Henry Pritchett, president of the Carnegie Foundation, put the finishing touches on the Flexner Report.[1] No other document would have such a profound effect on American medicine, starting it on its path to destruction up to and...

    Actually, I Have It (sometimes)

When I live in Canada (like right now) I have it.  How cool is it to be able to go to the doc when you're sick (without checking with your health insurance plan, or your checking account.)  While I was employed in the states, I was fully or partially covered, depending on the...

    We Have It!!

We = Massachussetts, perhaps the only state level Universal care in USA. You can even be homeless and be covered and you don't need any income, as it's tiered. Without an address, a person cannot get a "check" of any kind, so in that respect our Commonwealth Care health system...

I really do think I may need it in the future.

Despite how excited I am I still want to be safe during my weight gain. Although I would love to have systems in place made specifically for gainers to make transition and benefits easier. Sadly it doesn't look like Obamacare has succeeded in that -_-
