Deepressed wrote on 01:49PM at Apr 18th, 2011 I sit in the hot tub. The delicate sounds of the water around me. The cool mist embraces me. I hear the birds in the nearby trees. i feel a calling from the woods, something i cannot hear but I feel it. I get up from the tub. the mist thickens to a fog, almost as if the fog wants to become rain. the tiny droplets seem to hang in the air. It's cool but not cold against my naked skin. i get out of the tub and slowly walk into the woods. It's getting somewhat dark. i can still see yet there are many shadows. i catch a flicker of motion to my right. An owl swoops down and grabs a small animal. It then returns to it's treebranch. i brush a fern to the side as I explore. the path leads further into the darker area of the woods. I hear the beginning of a light rain on the top of the trees but the droplets do not reach me. I am still walking in the gentle mist. Ahead amonsty the trees i see a gentle light. I cannot see what is radiating the light but I see it's glow. I look back and I can see nothing of the house or the path i have come from. I return to my heading. The light is somehow welcoming me, it becons me forward. As i get closer, i see it is an orb, not much larger than a volleyball. I am suddenly aware of my nakedness. I cover myself but I feel an intelligence from the orb and i no longer feel any shame or embarrasment. The orb is glowing green and orange at the same time, i swear it is also red but I cannot really see it as any single colour. I reach out to touch it. When my finger should make contact with the surface. the sphere vanishes. I am standing in the backyard of my home. Confused I walk back to the deck and dry myself off. I go inside where I am greeted by my cat. He rubs against my leg for attention. I pick him up and scratch him behind the ear. His purring tells me of his approval. He opens his eyes and for an instant, i can see the orb reflected in his eye. I turn and look out the patio door but there is nothing there. Â
