I Was An Exotic Dancer Forum & Chat Board | Would be really cool

I think being an exotic dancer would be sooo empowering and liberating.  Although less so if you depended on the money.  I'd like to do it just for fun.

I really liked the movie Blaze.  She was awesome.

 It is both those things, you are right.  The challenge is to keep it in perspective and know what dynamics are present.   

For example:  Some customers feel that they are the powerful ones.  After all, they are the ones who hired you, they pay you, and they can fire you too.  They decide.  You, as a dancer, only have sexual power which you can exert to get them to hire you, and you can use it during the dancing to keep them interested.  If you, as a dancer, decide to misuse your power and start lying and leading on your customer (playing with his head and emotions) I think that's going over the line.

Seen it, done it....it's regrettable and horribly guilt-inducing.
