I can't say I'm not grateful to be born into

the 21st century (okay, I was born in 1999, so I have a half year of 20th cent. cred), but I'd love to have been born in the mid-60s to early 70s. I'm a big fan of 80s movies, and it's pop music is the most tolerable, so being a teen in the 80s would be great. If only I could...

    Something about the Victorian era.

.. I absolutely love the look of the clothing, the advertising, the mannerisms, the chivalry and all the trappings of horses and carriages, etc. ... but I also feel like I should be living in the 1950's... family values, clean living, respectability, solid morals. All hard to...

I am a 90's baby but I have always had this

strange feeling like I should have been born in the 20's. Then again, I believe I should have been born in the 60's. I'm not going to use the word hippie (which is a seriously bad stereotype). I love nature and the idea of nationwide peace. I love the feeling of freedom. I know...

I wish to be born in 1950.

You could smoke everywhere, cigarettes were strong and cheap. I am a very heavy cigarette smoker and really get tired of the increase of smoking bans in the last decade. I am glad that I still can smoke in my office. But at conferences or if visiting a customer it is not...

I think I was born in the wrong decade.

.. I listen to everything my parents listened to. I never listen to modern radio. My favorite band is Queen and Guns n' Roses. My vinyl collection is larger than my parents. I wear the things my parents would have and the kids at school don't understand my references. I found...

late. That I should have been born in 1970 so I could have been the wild child that snuck into concerts in the 80s. I love what people consider "classic rock"

I wish I was born during the early 50's.

though it would have been a hard time for African Americans it would have been joyous to hit the 70's around 20 years old. I'm so into the music and there styles, I think I would've been a hippy or a dedicated black panther. just depending on which coast I lived on. I would be a...

If not that, then I'd also love to be raised in 1880's. I know that last one sounds weird, but I just find that decade interesting. I love the thought of wagons dragged by horses, no technology, and the begging get of a new era. Crazy, huh?
