Honestly, I don't care if the anime I'm watching is in Japanese, English, dubbed, or toddler talk. Anime's anime...at least that's how it is for me.

Anime dubs just sound awful. It is like a cheesy drama or something. Plus how can you turn down the allure of the Japanese language?

i love watching anime in Japanese because they change the American versions.
sometimes they are subtle changes, sometimes they are not so subtle changes, because of what is considered appropriate for American audiences.
It took...

I've always liked to watch Naruto in german on TV but after I watched one episode of it in Japanese, I suddenly found the German dubs terrible to listen to. I couldn't even bring myself to watch an entire episode on German because of...

I've always been a huge anime fan. When I was a little girl, it started with Sailor Moon, which is still one of my favorites. Now I love Hayao Miyazaki's films. I love so many different anime, its ridiculous. FLCL is my all time...

I admit, once in a while, I'll hear a dub that impresses me. If anyone saw Ponyo, Cate Blanchett does a lovely job as a Sea Goddess...but otherwise, I'll always set the language to Japanese. Voice actors over there will...

Ever since I was first introduced to anime, I have loved it. I started out with Dragonball Z, like most boys my age, and later moved on to more of a variety through Adult Swim and Toonami.
The Summer before my Freshman year of high...

I love watching anime in Japanese, because their dubbers are just so expressive in how the speak. I know that some of the dubbers in the Philippines are like that, but I still believe that the Japanese dubbers are better. Because even...

I always watch anime in Japanese. I just can't stand dub, the English voices can be one
(or more) of these:
cheesy,
unemotional,
doesn't fit the character
I can't take the anime seriously if it's dubbed.....
Plus watching anime with...

Personally I can only take Dubs in small doses, if at all. This excludes Pioneer's dubbing to all its anime because Pioneer existed before the time of BAD voice acting.
Of course, when Pioneer was turned into "Geneon...

I can't stand dubbed anime, it just takes away the enjoyment. Especially when the dubs are so horribly done that you can't concentrate on the story. *shivers*.
So just subbed anime to me, please!
