I am one who can spend the day watching

documentaries. I love challenging my current beliefs, learning about something new, or discovering the details of world history that were glanced over in my academic career. I also love that I am encouraged to research sons subjects further, and learn more based on what a...

    I enjoy watching documentaries

because I want to know about real people and their real lives . I'm not interested in make believe movies . Although I do like some movies that aren't based on real people's lives.

The most boring documentary I've ever seen was

something called Mountains of Scotland. I watched it just after lunch one day, that probably contributed to me falling asleep. It was about mountains, and I like mountains, normally. And I have got absolutely nothing against Scotland. Once in a while I opened one eye, looked up...

    I love watching documentaries.

Watching real life stories is so exciting to me. I don't like fake movies cause documentaries are so interesting. You can actually view a persons whole life in two or three hours. I get creeped out by the ones about murderers. Documentaries are great entertainment.

My favourite documentary series are the

'Seconds from Disaster' series and the 'Air Crash Investigation (a.k.a. Mayday)' series. I guess I'm just very interested in learning and discovering the secrets behind aviation. Thanks to these documentaries, I can say that I have a pretty good understanding of the various...

Some Documentaries May Have Become "lietoyoumentaries"

If you get all your facts from documentaries, you will be sorely lacking in truth. There are so many falsehoods you would think they have nothing to lose but the truth. For instance, do you ever question something you saw in a documentary, then go check the stated facts as given...

I just saw a great documentary last night:

"Twinsters" - about two identical strangers who discover one another in a pretty random fashion. (One of them - from America - is in a movie short that is on YouTube. The other is from France, living in London, and a friend of hers sees the video and notes the uncanny...

The first documentary I watched was about Adam

Walsh. He was kidnapped and murdered. A very sad and horrific true story about a little boy kidnapped in the toy section of a department store. It really touched my heart especially the scene when they found his head in a lake and the father starts crying.

RT aired a great documentary about Cargil's

influences on deforestation, pollution. This hour long investigative documentary spanning the globe exposes Cargil's role as a multinational corporation at odds with our health and a disregard for local people's wellbeing. It can be seen on RT Live feed yet.

    Historical documentaries are interesting.

Here in England they have been examining lots about the Great War, of 1914 1918, and recently about the Plantagenet kings they had here in the Middle Ages.
