    One of My Favs

I love this movie. It holds a special place in my heart. I went to see this movie as the first "date" with my husband. (We had seen each other several times.) We doubled with some friends. I held my hand during the show. On the way out of the theatre he tossed his car...

I Watched It Once Or Twice And Then.....

my son decided to watch it over and over and over....until he memorized every line and literally wore out the tape. Recently I bought the DVD so that I could enjoy it with his children...hopefully not a hundred thousand times over and over....but it is a brilliant story.

    Inconceivable!!

I first heard of The Princess Bride back when Andre the Giant was still alive. At first, I only saw it on TV, and could never see it from beginning to end. So i decided to pick up the DVD. It was one of the best moves I made. These days, I'll watch it with my two year old son...

    A Side Story

One of the assistants on the film was asking Andre the giant if he was having a good time. He said yes he was really enjoying himself. When asked why he said because no one stares at me here. It's kind of sad in retrospect but he was truly a good man with a heart of gold.

I enjoyed this one! All of the characters are great and the goofy plot-line is nice too! And what girl wouldn't want a brave knight, like Westley who's line to the princess is always, "As you wish." :-)
