    Love This Movie

Always loved this movie from the first time I saw it. Best line I love is the "As You Wish", a line that I used on my love interest more times than I can count, a fact that strangely enough I am now deeply ashamed of because at the time I was married to another woman, a woman...

Movie For Every Member Of The Family

My wife and I watched the movie so many times that I think I know all the lines. We recently introduce our children to the movie and they love it too!! I think my favorite characters are Billy Crystal and Carol Kane as Miracle Max and his wife. They were hilarious. I enjoy that...

    A Side Story

One of the assistants on the film was asking Andre the giant if he was having a good time. He said yes he was really enjoying himself. When asked why he said because no one stares at me here. It's kind of sad in retrospect but he was truly a good man with a heart of gold.

    Life Is Pain, Highness

anyone who says different is selling something! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this movie!  It is one of my all time favorites.  It is funny... "unconceivable" and romantic, and all about how true love perseveres... “You can't hurt me. Westley and I are...

    Rodents of Unusual Size??

I love this movie SO MUCH.  Had an ancient video tape as a kid, so old it started with an episode of Bruce Forsyeths Generation Game (if anyone remembers that?)  My Mum used to 'censor' it by fastfowarding the part with the ROUS'S  so I didn't know they...

for line! "Halo! My name is Inigo Montoya, you killed my father, prepare to die!", just so many great lines in that movie too! "As you wish!" or who can forget this line, "Death can't stop true love, all it can due is delay it for awhile"

Named My Son After the Main Character

I love this movie.  It's one of my favorites.  It's funny, sweet and whimsical.  It makes me feel light when I watch it.  I named my son after the main character Westley-- However, that is his middle name. And actually, my son's middle name is wesley...

    "Have Fun Storming the Castle"

Is my battle cry when I undertake any impossible task. And it actually helps :) This movie is just full of cool quotes and scenes. I never tire of watching it, I own it and if I run across it on reg TV I end up watching it.

    As You Wish

I got a little girlfriend thanks to this movie. Fifth grade, & the class was watching it in the library. I'd been slipping secret love notes to the object of my desire. She'd found out earlier. After the movie, she asked me for more correspondence. I said, "As you wish...

    My First Movie Purchase

I first saw it on TV when I was 11 or 12. It became a family favorite at my house. We watched it so much, I can't even estimate how many times I've seen it. When I moved out on my own, it was the first video I bought. I still have it, and the book. It's so sweet and hilarious!

I Watched It Once Or Twice And Then.....

my son decided to watch it over and over and over....until he memorized every line and literally wore out the tape. Recently I bought the DVD so that I could enjoy it with his children...hopefully not a hundred thousand times over and over....but it is a brilliant story.

I'm in Love with The Movie But...

Not even close to how much my boyfriend does. He is a big closet romantic, and he gets all lovey when there is a really big romantic scene, such as cuddling with me or squeezing me tighter than he already is (you didn't hear this from me lol) I wanted to watch it with him one day...

    For First Time...

I watched it for the first time a few weeks ago, on the recommendation of a very good friend.  I loved the comedy elements within the plot and of course the romantic in me, loved the theory of True Love Westley: I told you I would always come for you. Why didn't you...

    Great Movie!

I enjoyed this one! All of the characters are great and the goofy plot-line is nice too! And what girl wouldn't want a brave knight, like Westley who's line to the princess is always, "As you wish." :-)
