    My Friend's Ring

Before I tell you about my ring let me tell you a little about the meaning behind the Claddagh for those who may not know. The Claddagh is two hands clasping a heart, and is surmounted by a crown. This symbolizes the qualities of love (the heart), friendship (the hands), and...

    Yep

So... I always wear it. I never take it off, except to shower because I'm afraid it will fall down the drain. My dad got it for me for Valentine's Day a couple years ago. Every year he gets me and my sister's an Irish gift, a bag filled with different candies, and a lovely...

I Bought Myself A Claddagh Ring

I forgot where exactly I heard of Claddagh rings, but I'm sure it's somewhere online and unrelated to Buffy the Vampire Slayer (since I know a lot of people who are non-Irish first knew of Claddagh rings from that show). I was attracted to the symbolism of it and the design, and...

    Blessed and Moved On...

My ex-fiance bought it for me, days after we met...I actually left his house wearing his on the first night we met. He wanted it back, so he surprised me with my own. His was a tribute to Mel C of the Spice Girls which made me giggle, because he's a goth punk :) Today I wear it...

    Yeap

its a little silver one, quite plain, but quite delicate and pretty. its the one piece of jewelry that ive managed to hold on to and its not going anywhere. the ring is all bent from where i punch various walls, and its a bit scratched, but i feel almost naked without it.

My Wedding Band Is a Claddagh Ring....

I wear a Claddagh Ring as my Wedding Band. It is a beautiful silver and it came from Ireland. I love the symbolism. It is a promise of forever. And to me, a reminder that i hold some one else's heart in my hands and to be gentle with that and to be worthy of that honor.

Okays =] This is the 4th one I've had. (I have one in my memory box that my best friend Mac gave me, RIP friend) But this one my mother in law bought me on her trip to Ireland at the beginning of this year. It has my birthstone for the heart! (It's a peridot!)

    I Love the Symbolism

I wear two claddagh rings. One has a blue pawa shell for the heart and it's sterling silver. The other is my wedding ring that is white gold with a heart shaped diamond. Of course I wear them with the heart pointing inward since I'm married. I also have a tattoo with a claddagh...
