    I Wear A Watch

I wear a watch because I need to know the exact time it is. I live in an assisted living place so I need to know when meal time is. If I don't then I miss meal time. I can cook in my apartment though and I do enjoy cooking but food is expensive and served meals are...

    I Like Timex

A watch has an important function. It's not just for telling time but it's also that thing you fiddle with when you're nervous about something. It's the thing that completes the outfit, depending on what it is. My wrist feels naked without my watch. I like the ones with the...

    I Have A Few...

I wear one everyday. I get frustrated when I don't have one on so I just always do. Before I go into my own collection, let me just say, that it saddens me that most of my generation has chosen to leave watches be hide. By the time my kids are around they'll be almost no more...

    I like wearing a watch.

It immediately gives you this 'sophisticated, mature and preppy' look even though you are anything but. Fools the teachers everytime.

For the past 4 years I'd pretty much relied upon my cell phone to use as my time piece, but I started a new job where cell phones are absolutely not allowed. I went out and looked at watches for over a week before I finally settled on an analog Fossil with a black face. The...

I've taken up wearing two watches at the moment for a variety of different reasons. Both have something wrong with them. Watch #1 only works every full moon, so it occasionally decides to work for an hour and then pack in again. Watch #2 has half the strap missing which is...

    Sleeping Beauty

My first watch was a Timex. My second was a Seiko. My third watch was a Skagen. Now I'm wearing a self winding watch. A real beauty but if I don't wear it for some time, it sleeps. ZZZZZZZZ 'snort' Zzzzzz. Duchessforthright

    Confusing? Yeah!

I'd definately go mad if I didn't. I hate not knowing what time it is, so I always have to wear one. If I do, it can't be digital, I have problems reading digital, escpecially if they're 24 hour ones.

My wrist is an oxymoron. I have a small feminine wrist attached to womanly hands attached to a skinny arm, on a girls body. Of course all that makes sense, I am a girl after all. But on that little wrist, is a man watch. A black and gray watch with water resistance, a clunky and...

    My Old Reliable

I always feel a bit off-kilter if I don't have my watch on before I leave the house. I am ambidextrous and I wear mine on my right wrist because it feels more natural for me. I have a couple of "girly" watches that I wear for business or special occasions, but I...

Since I was young, I couldn't wait to be a big

boy and get a watch. Over the years I grew to appreciate what wonderful machines they are. I prefer wearing a watch over using wall clocks and phones for time monitoring. Some are purely functional. Others are status symbols or statement pieces. I prefer analog over...

Watch Lives & Plays Non Musical Switch

I am dependent  on my watch inside a building at work. Usually outside I can be very accurate of the time of day by the sun and shadows. I usually am no more than 10 minutes off & people always ask how do you do that? Why have so many people turned to...

Yes, I can look at my phone to see the time.

However, most times I want to know the time, I want to know it RIGHT THEN. In those cases, a watch is perfect. Plus, i usually need it for my cardio and stuff.

I Used To Dual Wield Watches.

I've worn a watch since maybe fifth grade or so, almost always going so far as to buy a new one within a week of whenever it breaks.  When I was in school I would try and synchronize it to the school bell, so I had an accurate estimate of how much time was left in each class...

Well, ok, almost always.  My first "good" watch I got for Christmas when I was 13 and I still wear it more than any other.  It's been with me through a lot, and even though it has its scars it is a faithful warrior.  Since then I have added several others, one for...

    Keep Going

It's just about hanging for dear life off of my wrist now. I've had it for about 6 months and after all the torture I've put it through, the straps really on it's last legs now. The strap is bent where I usually fasten it. Also at that point there are bit where you can see right...

    Its More of a Habit

I can't not leave my house without my watch. On days that I do forget it, I feel naked and upset. I notice that if I stay over at a friend's house. I only take off my watch for those that I feel like their home is my 2nd home.   I have been wearing the same Casio...
