I first got talked into trying them by a female friend of mine who works as a Server / Hostess, she swore by them. I work in Sales, which means being on my feet all day, & had complained to her that my legs were feeling heavy by the end of my workday.
I was pretty shocked when she made the suggestion, telling me that they did wonders for her. I got her to pick me up a pair of the same ones she wore: Suntan, Control Top, Reinforced Toe & gave them a shot my next shift. I was AMAZED by the difference they made!
Been wearing them ever since, well over a year now.

I am a nurse and work 12 hour shifts and spend most of my day on my feet running from room to room providing patient care. I couldn't do it if I didn't wear support pantyhose.
Your female friend sounds really cool. Wish more women and men realized that support pantyhose are not made exclusively for a woman's leg. Last time I checked there was absolutely no difference between the anatomy and phisiology of women's legs and men's legs! Men and women have the exact same muscles, vasculature, nerves and bones in their legs!!
If a woman needs extra support on her legs when she has a job or profession that require her to be on her feet all day, why wouldn't a man??
I wish hosiery companies would realize this and start marketing their support hose to both genders. Maybe if L'eggs marketed their Sheer Energy pantyhose to men and women, it would become more acceptable for men to wear pantyhose.
Glad to hear you are getting relief from wearing support hose.

I thought I was the only guy who wore them!
