    Happy Landings

I LOVED it!!! Some say it's the adrenaline. That rush you get and the anticipation while sitting in the airplane on the way up while looking down at the ground. For me it was those moments of perfect clarity. Feeling like the world was at my feet. Not just while I was in the sky...

    All In the Family

F or a few years I heard talk all the time about skydiving. So when the day came I wanted to try it, I went out to the school with my family. My Dad was turning 50 and this was his birthday party. We all suited up and had our lessons. Being our 1st time we went tandem. Being the...

    Today was an awesome.

.. No, no, no epic day when my friend and I jumped out of a great plane. I was lucky enough to be trusted to jump with the tandem instructor and camera slot and allowed to dock onto her during free fall and geek at the camera! What an awesome/epic day! Bliss! 😃

    A Very Different Experience

I just, just went skydiving today... like 2 hours ago. I'm still sick--reeling from the experience. It was sensory overload for me. I just took a chance and did it without thinking about it. I was not scared or nervous going into it. But I forgot that I had motion sickness on...

I did it old school many years ago -

before tandem. We went in the morning and trained all day, jumping from higher and higher steps off a tall ladder - learning to tuck and roll on the landing, eventually jumping off the top step without fear, hitting the hard ground, and rolling to safety all without getting...

    One Thing Everybody Should Do.

I want to say one thing right out front. I am afraid of heights.  No, afraid does not begin to describe the obscene, embarrassing, uncontrollable terror I have of heights.  Yes, I am the girl who cannot stand up on a flat two story roof and must crawl on her hands and knees if...

    I went skydiving in Spain.

In Empuria Brava. It was the most amazing experience. And i had a incredible instructor named Josè. Skydiving made me conquer my fears. Especially of height. It was a experience of a lifetime. I would certainly like to do it again.

How would I possibly just describe it?

The aircraft was tiny, enough for around five of us to climb in and sit squashed up on the floor while the engine roared and we started moving along, the door still open. I quickly looked away. After a few minutes I could see we were already very high up, the fields below...
