Yea I think it was more like drowning

but I had a surf board strapped to my foot. Big waves in the pacific. It's really a lot of work to paddle out if you new to the sport.

    Surfing

I was in Florida a few years ago and had an hour-long private surfing lesson. I think I hated it. I mean, the moments when I actually stood on the board and, well, SURFED, were excellent. But I hated trying to get farther out from the shore so that I could do it, fighting the...

    I Love Surfing! <3

I started surfing because I've always had a passion for the ocean. I live in a remote area in Phillip Island which is in Australia. I also love to write. I learned surfing to escape from all the drama that I had been going through. I was bullied to the point I was severely...

    I've always wanted to surf.

Even when I was little. I grew up no where near the ocean but always had a connection with the ocean. I went to Florida recently and tried surfing for the first time. It was like finding myself again. I love the ocean.

    The Hardest Part

Nobody tells you that the hardest part of surfing is paddling!  No wonder surfers have such great muscles in their shoulders and backs. Even with the paddling, I loved my first and only time surfing (I'm sortof an exercise masochist).  I took a lesson on Waikiki...

Call me stupid or an adrenaline junky

but I went surfing yesterday. The sky was overcast and the water was a bit cold. I was feeling a bit bored lately so surfing seems like a pretty good idea to spend my Saturday. The waves were a bit larger this time of the year but I didn't really care. I just love the feeling of...

I Love Costa Rica But It Can Be Brutal

If you're talking about awsome places to surf you're talking about Costa Rica. I was surf in Manuel Antonio back when I was 14, a spot that's usually no more than shoulder high and a surprise super set rolled. I almost made it but as I was paddling up the face of the first wave...
