    The BEST!

I go to Burning Man every other year since I live in Reno, Nevada, which is very close to the MAN. Burning Man is the most spiritual and yet hedonistic experience that any person in this world can ever experience!

    Burning Man In 1998

I went to Burning Man in 1998. I told my parents about my plans to head up to the desert with a group of my friends. I wasn't really sure what the whole scheme of things was, but my father was fairly keen to the concept and asked me not to try anything illicit up there. I couldn...

    I honestly want to go

when older, but theres a lot of fear in the experience, like rape and dehydration or use of drugs... not sure if I'd feel safe enough to go, no matter how much I'm dying to.

I didn't go to Burning Man,

but I've gone to my regional burn (Alchemy) for the past four years in a row. It has changed me for the better. I cannot envision my life without Burns. I will always be a part of this incredible community. Everyone should try it at least once! Start with your regional Burn...

    Burn This Poem

What can you say?  I've been to 4 Burns over the last 8 years.  Figured I'd post my poem: Sunrise at Burning Man I got back to my tent just as the sky in one small corner lit up like maybe a star brooded too low or a raver tent partied to its peak. I smoke in...

How do you prepare for Burning Man?

What did you expect it to be -- how did it compare to that expectation? Would you/have you gone back? Best advice? What did you not expect?

    I'm A Burner Now!

The first I ever heard of Burningman was in a Wired magazine article many years ago. I thought, that sounds pretty cool, but never followed up on finding any more about it. In early 2006, I chanced to meet some people who were really into it. One of them became a good friend...

2008 I Found My Home In Black Rock City

This experience is really not able to be put into words as to truely understand you must participate.  The energy in BRC cannot be denied.  There is a sense of peace, calm and belonging; not often can you find a place like this.  A community based on the...

    Dance Desert Style

Something to remember about Burning Man... The happiest people are the ones with the RV's.  The dust is insane and you have to have goggles and a mask.  These should not be listed as optional companions on the list they give you.  The experience was one of...
