The election for president we are facing this year will be one of the biggest in our country's history.  Which to me is wonderful for our country is moving past our history.
Yet, at the same time I feel as a country we have...

I think the reason we choose one party is because that's what we are taught in school!  I was interested to hear my kids 6 and 13 talk about the election.  They voted yesterday at school, which I think is a good thing! ...

I've often thought this would be good. One party and therefore everythings easier.
But in reality that will not work.
Principles are what we need to be concerned with and their are may different opinions on the same principle.
So...

Goodness gracious. Why does it have to be 1 side against the other? Cant we all come to some kind of an agreement to just work for the common good? Work on making sure that everyone has healthcare, a roof over their head ( that they can...

Why can't we just have a dictator - that would be so much more simple.

My friend just opened my mind to a new idea.  The reason our country can't make any progress is because of the political parties.  It's a constant battle.  George Bush wants one thing...then Barack Obama wants to change...

Look for our politicians to take advantage of this crisis to promote their own agenda.  They keep treating this like a game and are taking actions only after weighing whether their action will help or hurt ‘the party&rsquo...

Politics are there for profit. They don't really care about us. So it doesn't matter who you vote for. Politics are all around rotten.

It doesn't matter if you're a Jet or a Shark; you'll be screwed and crying in the end. And yes, I had to use a West Side Story reference. :)

Then, no one would have to think.  I'd kindly do that for you.  It would be so much easier.  I'd just tax everything, your breath, your sex life (sell pics of you on the web), ration gas and make you pay...
