I Wonder About Outer Space

    So I Worry Too Much...

I see all these sci-fi movies with folks living and thriving on missions to other planets.  People from Earth who go way out there to some unkown worlds.  They do really brave things.  I'm entertained well enough, but that would be my worst nightmare.  If I...

    Among The Twinkling Stars

I wonder that what is beyond earth, and all it's beauty. The formless dark matter, exploding stars, greedy black holes, the many forms of nebulae, the pulsating nutron stars, the revolving planets, the whole natue an infinite storm of beauty.... Among the twinkling stars what...

    Life of Mars ???

I have always been fascinated by outer space. I really enjoy astronomy and going to planetariums. I am layman when it comes to this stuff, but I do find it very fascinating.  I wanted so this article I found in the London Times, because if it’s...

    Yesterdays Dreamer Of Tomorrow

When i was a young man of 15 years, i would find myself laying on the grass in the park looking up in to the clouds. It amazed me how the clouds seem to forum familiar shape of things that i recognized as real to life. Sometimes hours would pass of unconscious think of my...

Ever since I was young boy I have always been

fascinated by outer space. I used to write plenty of short fiction in grammar school with spaced based themes. Loved Carl Sagan’s Cosmos on PBS when I younger and love the new one with Neil Degrasse Tyson. I often dreamed of being an astronaut. That went away when I...

Another Discovery That Makes Me Wonder

Something other than the plight of our strife torn world filled my consciousness this morning as read about the discovery an Earth sized planet in the Gilese 581 system. The planet, unimaginatively named Gilese 581g, is a mere 20 light years from our pale blue dot. With a mass 3...

Space and beyond. We as humans explore the outer worlds and yet there is more and more further out. Yes, there is life out there but maybe we just might be very scared in really knowing. Area 51 can prove this. We did capture something while keeping it a very top secret affair...

    I have had this question

for a long time. So before the big bang, the universe or lack there of was made of moving particles and gases and such. And yes scientists say space is infinite(to our knowledge). Scientifically, if we could travel to the edge of where the original big bang spread thebubiverse...

    The Dear Old Magnolias

We rubber plants form the connecting link between the vegetable kingdom and the decorations of a Waldorf-Astoria scene in a Third Avenue theatre. I haven't looked up our family tree, but I believe we were raised by grafting a gum overshoe on to a 30-cent table d'hote stalk of...

I wonder if humans, or human-made spacecraft,

will ever make to Kepler-452b. After all, 8.2 million miles with the fastest spacecraft, would take millions of years. Who knows if humans would be alive to even receive a picture of it.

    Fascination And The Kepler Mission

I have always been interested in astronomy news. I love the idea of space exploration, and find the whole discovery of new worlds fascinating. I am especially interested in the Kepler Mission. For those who don’t know the Kepler Satellite was launched in March 2009 to search...

How'd It All Get There In The First Place???

I know they talk about the big bang and two big rocks colliding, but how'd the rocks get there, and where did they come from? And how did it all come to be? There werent just rocks floating around in space since the dawn of time! They all came from somewhere, and it blows my mind...

All the time. It freaks me out.

It just goes and goes and never stops. When you think too much about it, you start to feel small and insignificant.

I find it all fascinating, biased however by television show like Doctor Who. I know there has to be something out there. I feel like we are arrogant thinking we're the only planet in the vast expanse that has found a way to form life and even to advance this far!

    Space fascinates me so much.

It makes me so depressed that I'll never know the answers to my questions. People say space is Infinite, but, what if it's not? Nobody has ever been to the end of space, but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist. What if there are more planets? Different Suns? Different...

Okay so what is the point of 'space'?

So I don't like poverty so I'm essentially forced to accumulate wealth, the whole time general forces are opposed to me. If I do nothing I stay impoverished. Seems ludicrous. Any discussion about this? Thanks.
