Hahahah I remember in my country Ghana ,

what we did those times was to rub lime in your armpit some few minutes before you shower, you will still sweat but no bad odour, I still love this practice cos your armpit has no smell at all, neutral

I would imagine they would have used the

vegetation around them much like the tribes still active in New Guinea, Probably also use what's around them for other toiletries also

Nothing really. I'm sure rich ladies sprayed a

touch of perfume, and the gentleman maybe a dash of cologne. I'd just take baths twice a day if I was from back then.

lol, who would think of an experience group

like this? I know people used to think water unhealthy and it probably was, typhoid, dysentery. Nobody took a bath more frequently than once a year! I love history with a passion but I would not be happy without clean water and deodorant. Ladies used to hang bags of herbs under...

    Or toilet paper... Jesus,

imagine how stinky people were! It's funny how people romanticize the past but I wouldn't want to live in any time before the 21st Century!

    Hmmm

Even after deodorant has been invented some people still stink but looking back to when people didn't take baths often nor did they have deodorant I wonder how the world was populated because I don't think I could get past the stinch to be able to make a baby.

I'm amazed at how bad I smell

after three days of not showering. Nothing like being depressed and smelling as terrible as you feel.

    Funk

I have read that in the middle ages it was thougt  that vile smells were the source of disease.  That's one reason tobacco was popular.  It masked the smells and was therefore healthful (according to the thought of the time)  It was a custom around the civil...

In Rome in old times the streets smelt really

bad so some rich women would crush flower petals and breath the crushed petals in and wouldn't have to smell the smelly streets

I once went to a mistress

who never wore deodorant . She would use her fingers rubbing her armpits then run her wetness under my nose. Her oder was intoxicating. I beg her to allow me to worship her armpits. I still remember the Oder when I do the same to myself.
