My Job Is Consuming My Life.

When I was growing up, I resented the fact that my parents worked constantly and never supported me in anything I did.  If I ever asked for something, the answer was always "no" and centered around reasons regarding work.  I never...

Thankful For The Path I'm On

It's not so often that I share my personal status this openly, but then again I know there are good people out there. It's not something I am proud of nor ashamed of. But it's a quality I have noticed is part of my personality. Just a little something about where I have come to...

    25.5

On Sat 9th October I did 14.5 hours without a break. On Sat 10th October I did 11 hours. In two days I worked 25.5 hours. That means for those two days I spent more time at work than I did at home. Oh well, just think of the overtime. I should get a...

    Work Too Hard

I work too hard, but it is partially my fault. Frequently I see other people in the office chatting away, surfing the internet, or generally doing things not work-related. When I get to work, I am instantly in work-mode until the end of the day, whether I want to be or not...

It is not uncommon for me to work 10-12 hours a

day. I started my own company about ten years ago and it is doing very well. Although I have a very nice salary I would like to take a step back to enjoy life more.

    Time Pays Off!

Every single job I've ever had I worked my butt off! I always give it everything I got and have an extremely excellent reputation on my work ethics. I have climbed to a managerial position in my current job in only 2yrs. It would have been much sooner but one manager held me back...

    I Work Too Hard

I'm married with three kids and a mortgage. We're a single income family, and I had to give up a job with a higher hourly rate, because there wasn't enough hours. I'm now on a lower hourly rate, but have done 63 hours in my first week. This means that...
