    Not Anymore

I used to think i would prefer working the night shift forever but now that's just not the case. The older i get the harder it's becoming for me to stay up later at night. I guess it just comes with the getting old.

God, this week have been hell.

2 co-worker pulled out an I got stuck with their shifts. Just not fair. I've barely had 8 hours of sleep in total in the past 3 days. Fml

I Have Worked The Night Shift

I have worked the night shift in convenience stores and in security work many times over the years. Sometimes the biggest occupational hazrd is boredom in these jobs (especially the security guard work). Of course, as a guard, I would rather be bored than active.

    At A Convenience Store

It always struck me as funny that at that particular place we weren't supposed to call it the graveyard shift. They called it sunrise shift instead but the hours were ten at night till six in the morning and in the winter it was still dark for an hour and a half after I...

    I Did

For almost three years because it was the only way I could go to school, work another job, and be able to afford my college and do my homework.

    Ugh!

I worked the night shift at a nursing home for only about a month, and I hated it! I didn't feel like I had enough time with my kids, as I was working all night and sleeping all day. It was an easy shift for that kind of work, as most of the residents were sleeping and we...
