    In My Pocket, 1

    I used to keep tiny plastic models of ocean liners that came free with corn flakes in my pocket and when it rained I would float them along the gutters on the way to school which would leave my hands cold and wrinkled and gritty under the nails.

    Dance

    It was night and all the neighborhood children were gathering in a cleaned out horse stable for a dance - lights were strung and my 5 year old self was allowed to attend.

    I remember being about 5

    or 6 years old and running around the house half naked with my twin sister and playing together with our power rangers, barbies, and lion king toys. (This was the calm before the storm- one of the only good child hood memories I have.)

    I never broke anything in my youth, besides my freshly grown new pair of front teeth... They fell out a couple of days later and to everybody's amazement I grew an even fresher pair (of teeth), the same ones I still have now  : )

    I kinda adopted one of my neighbors bull calves,

    I could even ride on his back, and one day took him home to our front porch, where he eventually took a huge dump and my mom made me take him back. (We named him Arnold.)
