    Last Thanksgiving.

My mom was just dying to impress her new bf last thanksgiving by making a delicious meal.  She isn't much of a cook, so I was there to help.  Well she bought those tin pans to cook everything in.  The turkey was 15 pounds.  She stuffed it with butter. ...

    "Where's the Kitchen?"

I had spent the day helping good friends move.  Now it was 2 A.M., and we were crashed on the sofa in the new place.  Supper had been hours ago, and we were hungry, but too tired to go out.  But the microwave was plugged in, and I remembered seeing some microwave...

    Burning Water

Many many many times (I never seem to learn) I have burnt a pot of water. I'll be steaming vegetables and forget about it, and this horrible stench comes through the house and oh **** I burnt the water. Its incredibly hard, sometimes impossible to get off too!

I've resulted in so many "disastrous food

accidents" before I can barely even remember them all, but one I'd never forget has to be that one time I was the reason for a microwave potatoe explosion after deciding to feed 10 hungry ppl trying to show off my "mad kitchen skills" or so I've been told. Not gonna go into...

Some things sure can sweep me off my feet. Burning down the house!

Okay, so this is a reprint from my other experience "If I didn't have bad luck I'd have no luck at all" experience, but it fits here almost better, despite the focus not really being on the cooking, the cooking is what started the whole thing, basically...

The Time I Tried Heat Up A Glass Baking Pan On The Stove Top To Loosen Up Grime.

I cannnot even recall what horrid thing I tried to bake, but it made such an awful mess,I thought at the time it would be a good idea to loosen the burnt substance on the baking dish I decided to  put it on the stove top. Which might've worked had I not gotten distracted and...

    Pork Alfredo (in The Crockpot)
