I was in 5th grade our teacher brought in the TV cart and turned the news on. I remember them talking about the people jumping out the windows; all the people running away. About the firefighters who went running in. We all watched not knowing really what we were watching or what this ment for the future. But now I realize that's why i joined the navy. I was on deployment when bin laden was killed. We all thought that was a sign of the end. Guess we were wrong.
