 | I live in a small building -- just eight units -- and for the most part everyone is cool but there is this one neighbor that just really gets my blood boiling. I have had a few run-ins with him and at this point, we have no real reason to continue the "hate" but I can't seem to let it go. | I scheduled my vacation over the weekend that my step-sister is planning her wedding. I was going to take this particular vacation this fall sometime and when she wrote me a letter telling me the date, I knew that was the weekend I needed to take it because I don't want to go and need an excuse not to. I've got until October to make it sound convincing that I thought it was another weekend. There are many reasons I don't want to go. I've always felt like the outcast when I'm with my dad and step-mom's family. Those kids have been handed everything to them their entire life, I had nothing. They lived a fairy tale life. I was lucky to have food to eat when I was growing up. Feel free to call it jealousy, I know it is, but this is the only place where I will admit to that....[More]
