Premier Jewelry Is a Scam
I hosted a show recently and was so excited about all the incentives!   Not one piece of jewelry was what I had been shown!      The pieces I received were of a lower quality. I'll be at a show on Saturday March 11 to compare my jewelry to the "showcase" jewelry the designer begins. Oh and the best part, a local tv ancor and a hidden camera will be there.  i can't wait. Please don't be scammed!!!!!!! be careful

I own several pieces of Premier Designs jewelry. I find every single piece I own to be quite lovely! You're not buying gold or silver, obviously, but it is nice fashion jewelry. I have been to a few Premier Designs jewelery parties and the jewelry I have ordered is the same quality as what I saw at the party.

In 90s was decent and held up. New pieces from two months ago r literally falling apart. No more of this .....I can get this level of quality at Target and better quality at same price at Dillards or Norstrom.

I just had a party and ordered a lot of jewelry from them, my order was delivered in a little less than a week after closing, all the pieces were the exact quality that my jeweler had on display. Did you know your jeweler personally, or go to one of their shows previouslyr

I think it is true as a sales rep for any home party....soon your friends hide for fear of feeling guilty not buying. In today's economy. This is not cheap merchandise! A friend or family member are not here to finance my living. Don't see how many feel comfortable with this... Yes, please come over for fun, laughs and snacks My door is open for The good times, sad times but not for you to leave with a purchase. I think home parties are tacky!

You were never a Premier Designs Hostess and especially never a Jewelry Lady for Premier Designs Jewelry. I tracked your computer ip and got your address & name a few months after you posted this. Just stumbled on it again and thought I would let you know I know who you are.

That's a bummer... I too was disappointed when I moved from Texas to Colorado and found there are so many Premier Design reps than I know. I also invested in the catalogs a few times a month and the initial $1200 kit. I was at a neighbors watching a football game and starting talking with someone else from my church about Paparazzi Accessories- where everything is priced for under $5!!! I was BLOWN AWAY! Almost every women will spend $20 for 4 pieces of jewelry and its the same quality, if not better than all the stores at the mall. I quickly realized the potential with this company is much bigger- everyone goes crazy for $5 jewelry! Its sells itself and its such a new company that the competition is much lower for the consultants.... there is a lot of room to grow! Each piece you buy at wholesale for $2.75, sell it for $5 and you pocket $2.25 of that. There are starter kits that save you a ton of $ starting at $300 for 100 pieces of jewelry. There are no catalogs to keep up with or buy and you have permission to sell online-something a lot of direct sales do not allow. There are a ton of ways to sell- basket/lunch parties (you can drop these off and collect later), home parties, craft shows, boutiques, online stores, expos, even Facebook parties, you can get creative with it. There are still less than 25K consultants as they just stated MLM in 2011! Let me know if you're interested. Its the perfect transition! Virginia Brewster www.paparazziaccessories.com/23875

Found the address on Whitepages.com Premier Designs Inc (972) 550-0955 1551 Corporate Dr Ste 150 Irving, TX 75038 Premier Designs has been in business for 28 years. I bought jewelry from a friend 25 years ago who was a Premier Design Jeweler. I did have a piece fade and Premier stood by their guarantee and replaced it. Nice jewelry and great company.

There is definitely a physical address for Premier. I am an independent sales distributor for Premier Designs and I mail things directly to them and get things directly from them as well. I call them all of the time and they answer the phone "How may I serve your" Just so you know, each piece of jewelry is hand made by Premier Designs. Plus, most of the profit goes towards charities and mission trips. I have over 70 pieces of jewelry from Premier Designs and they are of the highest quality of jewelry I have ever owned. For a great price too! Other jewelry companies are solely focused on just making profit. Premier Designs is people before profit always. Other companies charge a fortune, Premier Designs has the best hostess plan and hostess benefits out there. I was able to give my last hostess $400 in free jewelry. Please, I'm just saying, Premier Designs in most certainly not a scam. It has completely changed my husband's and my life. I'm no longer worried about paying the bills.

I just want to testify that I am proud of my Premier Jewelry and have a friendship with my Premier Jewelry Lady. The overt anger that the blogger has expressed sounds genuine. She must have a little "activist" blood in her and wants to bring down "the man". What can I say, she has the right to investigate but I hope she finds a transparent company who will be blessed by the confrontation in the long run. I happen to be attending a jewelry party tonight and I'm excited!

I checked out their website. There is no physical address for this company and no telephone number listed. I'm not saying they scam people, but c'mon no contact info.

I have purchased quite a few items from premier and they are very nice. Not top quality but fun pieces. I think a tad bit higher in price but no one twists your arm. I do not consider the sales people jewelers just honest women making a honest living.

I bought 3 pieces last year or so, maybe 2 years. But one of my rings faded rusted around the ring I loved the ring but feels uncomfortable wearing it. They both are very pretty. but wanted to see if im stuck with them or am i able to exchange themr

this is far from the truth. You either had a bad experience with a false seller or you were not buying premier jewelry. I do not sell premier but am a frequent buyer I have always gotten the product I was shown and paid for. I am sorry you had a bad experience but don't fault the company for an individual seller.

I just started as a premier designs jeweler. I am in college and my full-time job makes me about 16k a year. I live with my fiance that make quite a bit of money (70K). The money I make at my full time job is hardley enough to live on after paying bills. Everyone says oh well get a better paying job. Yeah, that is almost impossible because my school schedule changes every six weeks. Premier has helped me double my money in a week. Sometime I make more money doing a show then a do a week at my 40hr a week job. Yes the start up fee was a little high but I used the jeweler rewards credit card which is only helping me build up my credit. This is not something I will be doing as a full time job for the rest of my life but PD is helping me pay for college so I can acheive my goals and have my dream job as an occupational therapist.

I have been a gemologist for over 30 yrs. Premier Designs jewelry is the finest made in America. I also have chosen to offer this high fashion product to my clientele for travel and gift purchases. 19 yrs now in fact. I don't know this woman of have never had anyone state the things she has.. she is a anomaly. Premier Designs Has received multi national awards for business ethics and principal.... ignore this woman post.

Please stop calling yourselves 'jewelers'. You are salespeople.
Posted by jenmag2007 on Sep 18th, 2013 at 9:41PM | 2 recommendations
This is really sad. I am so sorry but I can promise you that if you were indeed tricked or scammed it was not Premier Designs. They have so much integrity that if you called the company instead on taking this route they would have investigated the person who you think was a fraud and helped you in anyway possible. I have been a jeweler for 8 years and have never dealt with any other company who truly have people as there number asset. They put God first and profit second. This is what Premier is really about so I hope you have the opportunity to experience this for yourself someday. It really breaks my heart when someone has a negative experience from a jeweler who doesn't really model premiers true purpose and plan. Praying for you to achieve peace and happiness with whatever you choose.

This is so untrue! As a Premier Designs Jewelry lady myself I can tell you that they "showcase" jewelry that I bring to my parties is jewelry that I have purchased myself through the company!! We show our own personal jewelry. We wear our samples on a daily basis. We don't order special jewelry to show, it's all the same stuff!! This complaint is totally bogus. I am proud of the jewelry that I sell and the products that my customers receive.

Ariydan: Not sure who you were dealing with but it definitely wasn't a true Premier Design Consultant. I have been hosting parties for many, many years and I have never had 1 piece of jewelry that wasn't as advertised, actually it always looks better after I receive it.

I am new to this site and have been reading you all's postings. let me start off by saying I really hate that some ppl have had some bad experiences with the Premier Jewelry line. I have quite a bit of it myself & had not had any problems. And these ppl have my sympathy but we MUST understand that there are different strokes for different folks...there are all types of jewelry that can and cannot be worn due to various sensitive skin & acidic skin issues...so wear only what your skins allows then life goes on (not to sound non-caring). The reasoning behind my post is that I am needing help to gain knowledge & ONLY FACTS (both bad & good, but FACTS) about the various Jewelry companies that are out there like Premier Designs. Because I have a love for jewelry & would love to be involved in this type of business as a Jeweler or Rep so can anyone assist me in Which company is the best one to joinr (Premier, Stella & Dot, Lia Sophia, Silpada) & what others are out there (besides the ones I named) that I may not be aware of r Thanks in advance for anyone that can answer my post.

If you weren't happy with the quality of your jewelry you can always return it or exchange it. Premier Designs jewelry come with a golden guarantee that other companies don't offer. Fear not Premier Design jewelry is high quality.

Let's resolve this phony complaint right now.....what is Premier Designs rating with the BBBrrrr Yes, that's right....they are an accredited business with the BBB and their rating is A+ The highest you can get for all categories !!!! Now....try some other direct sales companies and see where they rate...some of them had to change names 5 or so times to get rid of their F ratings.....Premier is top notch in every way.

What you say is untrue.....I was a hostess for Premier Designs Jewelry for 5 years. The product is superior and the prices cannot be beat...but what makes Premier truly different then all the rest...is the care they show everyone. This is what convinced me to become a jeweler, so I could do the same for others.

I have been to several Premier home shows/parties and have been generally disappointed. I have to agree that some of the pieces I ordered did not look as good as what was displayed. This may have been unintentional, but at best, there was a break down in quality control.

Premier has been the biggest blessing in my life so far. I am a jeweler and lifelong jewelry collector, and Premier's jewelry is the nicest in my collection. It is quality, life-long, and beautiful.. just like all the relationships i have built with jewelers and hostesses i have had the pleasure of knowing through Premier!! Love this company, this article is misleading!!

I myself am a premier jewelry lady and I must say that what you are saying is a total lie. All my clients will tell you that the jewelry is high quality and besides that I am allergic to the medals in cheap jewelry but I can wear every piece in our line so I know it's not cheap.

Posted by piss65 on Apr 9th, 2013 at 7:15PM | 0 recommendations
I've bought quite a bit and the quality is fine. The pieces are exactly what is shown at the show. You have got to be kidding. A local TV anchorr Anchors aren't the ones who go out on investigative stories. They anchor the news show and segue to the investigative journalist. Anyway, this also is not a pyramid. The jeweler gets 50%, the one who recruited her gets 10% and the one who recruited her gets 10% but it doesn't go any higher than that. Pyramid schemes are where you pay money to join then go to meetings and continue to pay money to go to meetings and everyone above you gets a cut.

I am a Premier Designs independent distributor. I have never worked for such a devoted service oriented company! I hosted and attended many shows before making the decision to join the thousands of others who have made Premier a part time endeavor or a career. The jewelry I display is from the same stock that my customers order from. There is also a Golden Guarantee that allows you to return items for free in the first sixty days, or anytime afternoon that for $5 if it has a manufacture's defect. Given your disappointment or suspicions, you could have returned the items right away for a refund. I'm sorry you feel you had such a bad experience, but as you can see from the other remarks, the company has a stellar reputation.

I love Premier Designs! I have been in the business for just under a year, and cannot believe how wonderful it feels to help ladies feel and look their best!! Premier has been a huge help to my family, both financially and spiritually. All of our jewelry is of the highest quality fashion jewelry. And the best partrr It has a 100% satisfaction guarantee!! If it breaks, they replace it; if it tarnishes or fades, they replaceit!! Who else does thatrr No one that I know of. I'm sorry you had a bad experience with Premier. Please give us another shot and keep an open mind during the show you attend!! I hope we are able to win back your love, because this business is hugely rewarding!!

I own literally hundreds of dollars in PD jewelry and for the most part have been happy with the quality and service. However, a recent selection turned out to be of very poor design, and now I'm stuck with it. It is a necklace called "Harmony" and has 5 strands that constantly get twisted and tangled when I wear it (which has only been 3 times). Evidently since I'm just beyond 60 days since I purchased it, I'm out of luck. I was told that I could keep it and give it away as a gift. There are two problems with that: A) I don't give gifts that I've worn; that is extremely tacky. B) Why would I give a necklace that looks awful to someone elser If I had "tugged a little too hard" and broken a clasp, I could evidently get something else if I'm understanding the golden guarantee correctlyr This makes no sense to me. If a customer is telling you that a product looks horrible when worn, would you want them to continue wearing it or would you fix it and let them choose something elser I didn't expect a refund, just an exchange for something I can wear. They have a very generous hostess plan and I truly love my consultant, but this will definitely hinder future purchases. I'm better off purchasing Monet at Macy's. At least they will let you exchange it if it's of poor design.

I am a Premier Design Jewelry and I have many pieces of the collection. At all my shows the jewelry the guests order is of the same beautiful quality. I have also handled personnally several older pieces from guests , not mine, that had lost a stone or had a broken clasp (all due to normal wear and tear) and the company has repaired or replaced the item free of charge or a minimal fee of $5.00 plus tax within 3 days of re-ceiving it.. This company is founded on biblical principals and they stand behind all their beautiful jewelry.

Like any MLM someone has to lose money in order for the top tier to gain money. It is nothing more than a pyramid scheme but they are able to avoid calling it that because they have a "product". Forget the product. It does not matter what it is. Think about a company in which salesmen make commission. Other than perhaps a licensure fee, such as a realtor, they do not pay the company to make money for the company! Why should one pay a company to sell their productr They socialize the profits but privatize the loss and EVERYONE on the lower rung loses. The only supposed "profit" for the people on the lower rung comes in free jewelry which is cheaply made despite having a "warranty". Of course, just like any other MLM, there are always a gaggle of hens that will come out in vehement defense of the company despite blatant and downright truthful complaints. Just look at the following comments to people that complain. "That is not Premier Designs fault so contact your consultant" or "Your consultant does not represent Premier Designs." I personally like this one, "The credit card is 3rd party and is not part of Premier Designs." Those happen to be quotes you will find in more than a few comments below. With a legitimate business everyone from the janitor to the CEO represents the company and anyone that violates the image of the company is subject to termination, suspension or forced resignation.

Seriously don't believe this post! Know this company, know their jewelry and know their heart. This is NOT who or what they are about. Would like to know how your supposed scam went. Sounds to me like you sell someone else's line of jewelry.

I am sorry that some of you ladies have had problems with the jewelry and the exchange process. I have been a jeweler for Premier for 2 years and I have been around it for 6. I'm sorry that you had a bad experience. Premier Designs is based off being personal and serving others, not just selling jewelry. The jewelry has a great quality to it the hostess benefits and golden guarantee is excellent. Women that have shows earn lots of free jewelry and if they have a problem with it, they can exchange it, no problem. I wish that y'all had a better experience

I have been a Premier customer for a couple years now and will begin selling it this month. The product is good and is the same as the one you see at the show. In fact my party girl sold me items off of her table and had me order her the same items and they were identical. So I am sorry about your luck but I have only had great experiences with the company.

Even though Premier let me exchange the necklace and ring that turned my skin green (mind you after I went up their coporate ladder for help) I would not purchase any more jewerly from this company. The woman that was the demonstrater is no longer selling the product as it seems she has exhausted all her family and friends and friends of friends and has run out of people to have parties. Also after hearing all the problems with the quality of this product, why would I be foolish to go back for morer My other friend's bracelet fell apart on the street. I don't doubt that the company treats their employees well as that is their bread and butter but I think in this economy it is pretty easy to find bargains with costume jewerly elsewhere.
