I support Safe Harbor, the local domestic abuse shelter, by volunteering as much as I can. I am applying for a position as Shelter Advocate today. But women, children,and elderly are not the only ones who suffer. Many men are abused as well.....but no one knows about it because who would believe them? My goal is to get 1000 signatures by the end of August. If I do that, I will begin a campaign to educate the public about abuse by spouses/significant others on their husbands.
