  • People who dont listen

    Sometimes people are so caught up in their own thoughts and ideas that they do not listen to you. I was chatting w/the lady who delivered a package for FedEx. She just kept talking and talking. Telling me her whole llife story. I couldnt get a word in. I wonder why people think they are spiritual and "in touch" when they dont even have the patience to listen to you. She thought I was a teenager probably, because she listened more when I told her I was 30 years old.… [more]

    We live our lives day in and day out without really understanding the people around us. Numerous people appear and disappear from our lives in all sorts of ways. Why is it that we can ignore whats behind all those faces? I admit that I am quick to judge people as soon as I meet them. It is only after I make a concerted effort to understand more about them, do I form a fair opinion about them.... and usually it is much better than the first. I am making a goal to do this more often than not.… [more]
