It's quicker any way. A young teen was home alone in Oklahoma and heard someone kicking in her door (she was already talking to her mom on the phone), her mother told her to get her gun from the night stand and get in the closet, and call 9-1-1, and use the gun if the burglar came after her. She called the police and while she was on the phone the burglar opened her closet door and she shot him. He fled the home and the police caught him a short distance away. He told the police he was hungry and homeless and looking for food...yeah right in a girl's bedroom closet. Police think he had been watching her for several days.
Just remember when seconds count... the police are minutes away.
Anyone stupid enough to wait a minute for police to arrive is a fool. Firstly, the police have no legal obligation to protect you. Secondly, you're depending on someone else that is nowhere nearby to begin with when you can end it by yourself within a moment's notice.
Very true!! Bullets travel much faster.
You got that right
Depends whose hand it's in.
true to that if someone has intent to harm you or your family the cops wont get there in time to save you
