11 July Srebrenica Memorial Day. How do you think muslims should react?

Back in July 1995, Bosnian Serb forces, commanded by General Ratko Mladiƃ??, and paramilitary units had executed more than 8 000 Muslim men and boys, who had sought safety in the area. Moreover, nearly 25 000 women, children and elderly people were forcibly deported, marking the the biggest war crime to take place in Europe since the end of the Second World War

The official report of the European Parliament read : "Declared an act of genocide by the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, the tragedy took place in a UN-proclaimed safe haven, making it "a symbol of the impotence of the international community to intervene in the conflict and protect the civilian population,"

The resolution was adopted by 556 votes to 9 with 22 abstentions.

I guess they'll be angry at those responsible for the UN-forces in charge of Srebrenica: the former Dutch government. I hope they'll spend more time comforting and strengthening each other.

Being a muslim i will pray for the dead one to rest in peace and will keep on raising my voice against brutality.
Islam give the lesson of peace not the war.

They are very angry to this day. Some people lost 11 members of one family but they just honor the dead who died for the freedom of the former Yugoslavia. There will always be hate from the families who lost so many members. I hope that something was learnt from this cruel atrocity.May the dead rest in peace.

I think that they are deaf, what voice will they hear if they don't like to hear.

Don't you think that killers should be killed to stop them! and to stop other people of thinking of doing anything like him

I am sure that he feels bad about it and wont rest untill he is killed!

Peacefully. They should honor their dead. Hopefully a peaceful protest will make more of a statement in the world community on this horrible tragedy than a violent reaction that will only lead to more bloodshed. May them rest in peace.

in no way. if you want less things like that to happen in future, people should stop act as a part of a religious group or part or any group at all. anything that gathers some people , separate them from other, thus dividing us all. cry for the lost ones and make sure won't happen again by refusing any act of violence, even verbal.
