    I'm pretty sure every time you go to your own profile page it counts as a "profile view." Same applies to your stories. Just creating one generates a lot of phony "views." I think that's stupid and I want them to change it so it will be a meaningful statistic. I will eventually mention that in I Want to Improve Experience Project.
