1st date dos & don'ts?

don't talk about politics...

-didn't get a 2nd date, so don't have do.haha

Do have respect for yourself and your date....

Don't try to make it to home plate....

Do leave something a mystery....

Don't give out too much information, too soon.....

Do dress to impress, but not like you're going to the prom.

Girls...get a manicure/pedicure....

Guys....wear deodorant, but, don't bath in cologne...

Guys....clean out the car, before you pick her up...

Girls...use hand lotion...

Decide together, what you'd like to do....it takes the pressure off of one person....

Be yourself...don't try too hard....if they don't like the real you.......then, he/she isn't the right date, anyway....

Don't: drink too much, unless you both plan on getting drunk together.

Don't talk about your ex
Don't talk about religion
Don't only talk about yourself
Don't drink too much!
Don't show too much skin
Do ask questions about the other person
Do make eye contact
Do look your best
Do have fun and enjoy yourself!

DO: Do something where you can actually talk and get to know one another. I do not consider dinner and a movie a good date because you sit in a 2 hour movie not talking and then spend an hour over dinner talking about the movie! If you go to dinner first,, that limits the time because you have to make it to the movie.
DON'T: talk on your cell phone or text message. TURN THE PHONE OFF!!!

Do listen more than you talk.
Do offer to split the check (assuming ur female, sorry didn't look at ur profile first)'
Do not talk with your mouth full (or any other gross things ur mom taught u not to do at the dinner table)
Do not share your whole life story. Leave a little mystery for a guy, otherwise...why does he need a second date? Leave him guessing a little. Most of all just be yourself as much as possible. we all put on our best front when were dating someone new but just don't go over board.

If you r a girl don't discuss marriage or future in any way. If you r a boy, don't fish around trying to find out how soon you can make the relationship physical. Nobody WHO u r don't even consider saying ONE thing AT ALL about any past relationship. It is totally cool to just let the past stay there with people you are just starting to date.
