40's, 50's, 60's ..........................today, musically what's your favourite decade?

The 90s. 90s pop I grew up on, but 80s-90s country is still the best.

I agree completely with RedRover. The music was real, so were the musicians.

I like music from all times, but definitely not all music. I definitely couldn't pick, my three favorite bands are all from three different decades. And while there is great music from every decade, I don't think that the value of any one era of music out ways the value of another.

THE 90'S! i might be the only one to say this. but the 90's was a culmination of everything. it seemed we reached a boiling point and just exploded all over the country's face.
the early 90's was filled with angst but by 97 we just got pissed. the passivity of the 60's didnt work. the 70's were too cryptic to get anything from the 80's was just garbage.

the 90's had something to say (othert han lets get high and have sex)and was the first generation of modern music to actually say it right or coherently (kurt cobain not included)

when people preach about the 70's i just say "it didnt take much to captivate a generation of degenerates" lol

For me it has to be the 60's - I just love ancient history!

I am torn- can't really choose 1. I enjoy 50's because it gave us rock n roll as well as dooo whop. I like the 60's as well because it gave us The Beatles,The Stones and Motown. But the 70"s gave us my beloved Bruuuuuce. I guess if forced to pick 1 I'd go with the 50's as it was the influence on future decades. (Most artisits credit Elvis in some way, shape or form.

I like all music decades. they all had their different kinds of music but all music is great.

I personally aside from today's music, think that the 80's was the best.
