I don't have a television or the internet. It's more cuz I'm broke and lazy than for any low-tech statement.
I did grow up without a dryer, a dishwasher, a television or a microwave and I feel like when the apocalypse happens, I'll be better able to deal with it. Way to go brotha!
He asked you to join the 21st century...you might ask him to join the 22nd ;)

You're your own person....don't let anyone else say otherwise.
It depends on your needs. I have a friend who has a wall phone and not an answering machine. It works for her.
I love having a smart phone and having internet available, everywhere I go, just in case. I no longer have internet service at home, so my laptop is under my bed mostly unused, due to finances, no cable. I pay cash for everything.
don' t do it, if you haven't yet, stay clean
they are a pain the arse
how i wish i could go back
It's almost impossible to rent a car, buy a plane ticket or check into a hotel without a credit card. I have an iPod somewhere in a drawer I think but my phone is essential; I couldn't work without it.
i don't have a dishwasher and we have to washup by hand. i like it though coz it is better for the invironment. if i had my way there would be no elecrisity and we would all go and live in mud huts. and i think that people who liv in jungles are very lucky coz they get to do just that. and they get to hunt and cook at a campfire... and and and...
