A cowboy rode into town on Friday, stayed three days, and rode out again on Friday. How did he do that?

The day was Friday. His horse was named Friday. He rode in on Friday Street, wearing his Friday longjohns and sitting on the label. Three days later he did the same thing going out of town, and the people were celebrating a local hero- Joe Friday- so it was actually Friday Day. Before leaving town, he had a special holiday drink, also named after the local hero- so he was "on Friday" as he yodelled "Thank God It's Friday" on his way out of Dodge. The End. : )
