I was once asked by a prospective MIL, "What is your greatest achievement in life to date?" This is how she judged suitors. What would your question be for a prospective son/daughter-in-law?

I would only judge my son/daughter in law by their actions and only their actions, as words can be abused and used to give a fake picture of who the person is .

Have you gotten a blood test yet?

A fair question, only I'd want to see the results :)

I would ask them if they had a job for longer than 3 years.

Convincing your daughter not to listen to her mother.

Can you see yourself with only my son? Just you and him? Can you see yourself looking at him every day and still being happy?

Best Answer

I convinced your daughter to let me use her back door.

Pretty much what I did. I did say prospective.

Well if she gave you aynal, then I guess that's a pretty big achievement right there. ;-)

Making it to today and hoping for a better tomorrow.

I would only ask, do you really love my daughter/son and do you cherish him/her in your heart?
