A question for Christians. How many of you out there believe in a pre-tribulation rapture?

NO, there is not one single Biblical Scripture containing the word rapture. Rapture is a man's idea. A wish. Giving themselves more time, before the Judgment Call. You pass from this world, to sleep or to rest, until Jesus returns, where the dead 'IN Christ', will arise, then the ones still living will meet Him in the air. That is Scriptural, but not the rapture theory.

You really think Jesus is going to come suck people up into the sky, so they can be safe from the big bad secular world getting an *** whipping? Hhmm... good luck with that.

There is a debate on when the rapture takes place. Some believe before, some believe during or mid-way, some say at the very end. The important thing is to always be ready, this mean always being in the spirit of God.

Yup, I believe everything the bible says. So when the bible states that "we" will be caught up in the clouds with Christ I take that literally.

So the church will be moved out of the way before the Anti-Christ makes his appearance. It doesn't say before the "Tribulation," but before the Anti-Christ appears. Why would we need to be here when he appears? He means nothing to us, and the only one who can defeat him is Jesus Christ which he will, he will be forced to bow before Christ, AND, be forced to say with his own mouth, Christ is Lord.

He'll then be cast into the pit and chained for a thousand years.

I believe in pre-tribulation because I do not believe God would have us suffer so much and that will be the awakening call to the world.

absolutly God always makes a way out for his people when it comes to genicide or destructive global events noah had the ark Lot had the angels warn him,Moses had his ark,baby jesus even had to be Saved.the tribulation sorts out those who might have a good heart but they have to die to claim their reward, Gods people will be gone,read about the change in our solor system in 2012 our planets align and there will be a sound of thunderand a bright flash of white light for a split cecent, sounds familiar dont it

I used to SammyLou but I dont anymore. I think it will come near the end of it or at the end completely. If you look at the 7 signs in Revelation, I think it will come after the 6th or 7th sign. Not 100% sure, but it seems to indicate that.

I hope so. I certainly don't want to be around for the Tribulation. As to what Jesus or God can do... He created EVERYTHING in six days. If he chooses to draw his believers to Him at any time, well, that's certainly up to Him. I don't believe however, that my salvation depends on whether I believe in the rapture or not.
