President Reagan classified ketchup as a vegetable for school lunches to meet nutrition requirements. Since it's made from tomatoes, I guess he was technically correct. But, by those standards, one could say that jelly satisfies as a fruit. The wife and I always diped our chips ( French fries ) in ketchup until we saw people in Europe dipping them in Mayonase. I still use ketchup but, the wife switched to mayo and still uses it to this day. I know. A lot more info than you asked for but, it's what came to my mind. So there you are.

Speaking of traveling....Papa tomato and baby tomato were traveling down the road,baby tomato started lagging behind,so Papa tomato went back to him and smashed him....and yelled KETCHUP!

In Wales it's 'Sos coch' pronounced Sauce Co-ch (the ch is as in Bach, the composer). Translates as Red Sauce
