Some women have it really bad, it's true. People can't understand how awful it is. Other women have it really easy, and they don't mind a bit. Sometimes the severity of pain changes over the lifetime as well. I would not say that it's a woman's worst enemy, however. A woman's worst enemy is this patriarchal society that represses, infantalizes and holds us back in ways both direct and invisible. The repression is insidious and not always noticed, especially since our citizens are brainwashed since birth that this is the way it should be. That is a much more monumental obstacle to personal achievement and happiness than "monthlies", as you so courteously termed it.
