God is still in control and always wil be. After the Lords death he sent the Holy Spirit for comfort and guidence. God is still here all we have to do is look around and see his glory. The problems we have right now are our fault because we are a greedy self centered world.

Really it is quite simple. Jesus stated he and the the Father (GOD) were one. Jesus was crucified and died. This is verify in numerous writings from the Romans and Hebrew history. Additionally jesus rose from the dead and appeared to numerous poeple and places. These are all facts proven by the ancient writings not merely the bible but the writing o Jocepus and the History of the antiquities

I am reminded of that scene in Superman that shows Superman up above the earth with his superhuman hearing listening to constant unending pleas for help. The idea of portraying this scene was to show Lois Lane that from his point of view, the world was in need of a saviour.
Well, if a movie producer can think this far in relation to a fictional character, surely it is not too hard for you to imagine the Christian God listening to all the world's pleas and miseries as it yearns for a Saviour.Like (2)

My humble and simplistic view is religious belief comes down to a matter of FAITH. You either have it or you don't. It cannot and will not be explained. It exists in you or it does not. It defies logic and is not embarassed by science. It is what I want and need in my life. I have felt its power in my worst dispair and I've been thankful becasue I know it has spared me pain. It will never be sorted out in this type of a ******* contest. I hope there can be a live and let live on this; though I know there never will. But that's ok too.
