DISAGREE: A high IQ doesn't mean they will make good decisions, and lie detector tests can't be used as absolute evidence in court because people in charge of their emotions and reactions can learn to master a lie detector test and make it say they're telling the truth; also, some people are more nervous than "normal" and the lie detector test may say they're lying even when they're not. So lie detector tests aren't always accurate. <br />
A good way to tell if someone will be any good as a President is to look at their history. Make sure their actions back up what they say. If they don't, vote their rear ends out!!
What you said is great. I guess they should not do those tests. I like the suggestion to "look at their history".
Both could be easily faked and these tests if instituted would quickly become an impotent formality
agreed...but it will never happen.
I'm more concerned about their business ethics than anything else. I think a lie detector is a good requirement.
