All these cases of shootings, why is always a wacko man with a gun, never a woman?

well, it's just my opinion, but I think it has to do with women having more respect for life. We carry it in our bodies for 9 months, nourishing the life within us. When the child is born, in most cases, it's the woman taking care of it. We see the life, the person, the individual. We can relate that that person is someone's son or daughter, someone who is loved by others. We wouldn't want anything to happen to our children, to our loves, so are less likely to do harm to someone else's. Women see the potential victims as people, not just something to vent our anger on and get revenge.

Because women kill with words.

Cause men are (supposedly) more physical and bottom line than women. Plus there's that macho thing.

Women tend to be more cat like, devious, and into mental "paybacks". Often taking the back door approach of getting even.

Men prefer the quick fix - bang, you're dead, problem solved. Where women go for the long haul, thought out, cover their tracks type of revenge.

"Because Men suck"- I actually have a story with that title on here. Men are responsible for the vast supermajority of violent crimes. For every crazy mother who drowns her kids you've got 10 goofballs going on shooting sprees.

If you look at the long history of female serial killers they tend to use more passive forms of killing such as poisening and also tend to go after those closest to them for either emotional or monitary reasons. There are, of course, a few exceptions, the most notable and famous being Aileen Wuornos who shot her victims and killed strangers.

Women have used guns for bank robberies and other terrorist activities (remember the 70's?) but as far as I know have not done a school shooting.

I mean granted there is a huge in the amount of violent activities between men and women though not as much as we might think and the numbers are almost equal if we look at child abuse (though the numbers are hugly different for sexual crimes).

I guess my answer, in short, would be that women tend to use different styles of killing and kill those closest to them as opposed to men. It is like suicied, women are more likely to cut or try to OD while men will more likely shoot themselves.

Because men (or at least myself, perhaps I am just a wacko), usually bottle up their anger until it explodes. Then, in their fury, they feel the need to destroy whatever it is that made them angry in the most violent manner possible. I realized that this was a terrible way to go about doing things as I was looking down the barrel of a shotgun, my sister, terrified out of her wits, in the sights. The anger quickly changed into horror at what I was doing. Thankfully, I did not pull the trigger.

Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. When women kill they go after the one person who scorned them. Of course there is exception to the rule.
Google Female Killers and you'll see what I mean.

Yeah actually a woman in CA shot and killed 6 people then herself at the post office she worked at a while back. Google "Jennifer San Marco". Obviously it's usually men doing it, but women typically don't do as much violent crime of any type as men do (more men than women are serial killers etc).

Men in general like weapons more than women do. Women will think of a gun as a last resort and men as a propable first. But women are as viscous as men and kill as often. We as a society are more sympathatic of women who go off the deepend than we are of men.

I'd say it's because women internalize a bit more then men. But there's also something to say about the macho/violent route. Even with suicides, if a violent mean is used (ie. gun, jumping etc) it's more often by a man where as women tend to use pills or something quieter and not violent. Looking at that trend, it makes sense that women wouldn't go for a violent outburst as often either.

Its my understanding that God approached Adam and offered him a choice: Raise Holy Hell or Shop For Shoes. The rest as they say is history!

Men have taken the role of governing the world, and feel the right at time to be the judge and jury of all situations.

Men tend to think that violence actually solves something wherein women know that violence just leads to more violence. Also, for 2 thousand years, men have gotten their way by killing people and taking their land. They think they have that right. Women want to share all that we have (most of us, anyway) where men feel that they need to own everything and be all powerful to be men. Plus all the stress of everyday living will drive some people to violence, man or woman, but more men have guns than women. It's just not usually a womans hobby. Guns, that is. I think women tend to have breakdowns more than going off on people because we are raised to be polite and nice. And testoserone does cause more aggressive behavior than estrogen. Women also think more than men do about consequences. I could go on, but I think that's enough.
