am an indian, and its about arrange marriage.....this fellow likes my profile in one of the matrimonial sites and calls me.....i sent him my pic with biodata and he said he will forward them to his parents n meanwhile i have some question i can ask him..........shall i write him?? even if i want to converse more with him....how to proceed?

I think you should proceed by getting to know him to the best of your ability and not set yourself up with a man you hardly know. A lot of women get hurt by that.

You just need to do the start to ask him about job, career,what he thinks about who he wants to get married at. and most of all try to save what he says on your hard disk computer and ask him same question after a while , make it like you forgot you asked him same question to check if he do tell lies. The start is to tell him about his personality and what he likes and dislike and what he like to do in his free time, and if he is or have been into any relationship, taht just to get started and to know what is going on. Yes, the profile is just uploaded in the matrimonial sites.......the rest of the stuff would be definitely looked after by parents....then again i must know the person too.rite?

If a question and answer period is all that precedes an arranged marriage, I'd advise you to ask him many. Thoughts on children, career ambitions, pet peeves, daily routines, overall temperament, likes and dislikes, are all important.
