Am I a freak?

I've tried to quit cutting, but I crave to see and feel the blood flow. It melts the pain away and I feel alive. The pain feels so good and the warmth of the blood heals; or so it seems.

It's not too far different from any other addiction, trying to find an escape. :) You're not a freak at all. It's just tough because you're still in the environment that's causing you the stress that you're trying to escape from. You need to seek some sort of counseling and they'll help you find other outlets.

I don't understand how they withstand the physical pain. I am a wuss when it comes to physical pain. Is it the relief when the pain subsides? Is it seeing thrir own blood? I have known a cutter and would like to get some insites, should I ever come accross. Am I correct in assuming this effects young ladies more than young men?

For me its both the relief when the pain subsides and and the sight of my own blood. I believe it does affect young ladies more than young men.

I dont have a trusted adult. Sadly. All the adults I have trusted have turned their back on me.
