Am I doing something wrong?

my two best friends don't like the guy iv been in a relationship with, they say if he see's me in 10 mnths like he promised then they will hate me and never speak to me again.
he is 17 and I'm 16, he wants to see me for my 17th birthday. He isn't a bad guy and I have changed for the better. Before him I didn't care what happened or what I did. What I don't understand is why they hate him so much and they never even talked to him.
I go visit them more then I even talk to him, which to me seems selfish.
Please help am I in the wrong?

    Are your 2 best friends male or female?

    If they are male they may not want anyone else to have you....... maybe they want you for themselves

    If they are female they may have their eyes on him themselves and don't want you to get in their way

    As friends of either gender they may see that if this goes on it may affect your relationship with them............... You might ask them....." what's up with the hate?"

    they females and they hate him just because its long distance. One hates him, just because of a dream she had.

    If that is the reason for each then they are being irrational. The question you must ask yourself is if they say: "they say if he see's me in 10 mnths like he promised then they will hate me and never speak to me again." Are they truly friends? Do you really want a friend who would blackmail you with their friendship just to have their way? Do they care about you enough to wish for your happiness? ............ if not they are not friends I hope you will consider these things before making your decision.......... even tell them what I said and see what their response is. You have a decision to make........... are they in this with your best interests in mind or are they just seeing how much control they can wield over you? Love, Light and Blessings, Elf
