Am I too young to have carpal tunnel?

I used to twist/pop my wrist on speed and such, became a habit and now I do it when I'm nervous. I think I've messed a nerve up somewhere in my wrist, it's legit hurting pretty bad this morning.

Do you have numbness in your fingers?

Have you lost strength in your hand?

If yes to both then you may want to get an EMG.

Doubt that anybody is too young to have a repetitive injury syndrome. But it could also be bursitis.

Everyone is different. Young and older people can have the same condition. Go to the doc to find out!

I don't like how society holds the belief that younger people can't get sick or injured or their bodies can't fall apart. It's very possible, and should be taken seriously. I used to hurt all the time and have random extreme pains that would shoot from my joints and seem to affect my muscles. I had pains like this when I was a teenager, but when I told people about them, they wrote me off because of my age. Now that I am an adult, I know that it was my Fibromyalgia.
    Take your pain seriously.

I don't thinks thats carpal tunnel. I pop my wrist all the time and use the computer nearly 13 hours a day. Sometimes, it hurts..but it'll go away in a day or two. And also do some workouts for your wrist..just to be cautious.

    You're never too young.
