I had the same problem. I tried everything. :-(

Then a friend of mind told me about a bell pepper.

All you need to do is put a bell pepper in the hole at the beginning of their tunnels.

We only had 1 to deal with so it may take a few bell peppers placed in their tunnels.

I don't know what it is with a bell pepper but it works.

We love you and just want you to be well-fed and happy." Following this, the gophers will lose interest and move on to another spot. Rated: +2Vote for this!
Myonis108	Posted Jul 4th, 2009 at 2:22PM I have a resident gopher under my deck that chews our cable and eats my plants. Even wrote a story about my war with it. Nobody mentioned anything about a bell pepper but I have visions of lining the whole perimeter of my deck and yard with bell peppers. Who knows how many minions he has lying in wait? There are holes all over the place. My friend suggested wolf urine pellets but they didn't have them at our garden center. I'm thinking maybe I'll just get a wolf. Rated: +2Vote for this!

2nice	Posted Jul 4th, 2009 at 2:26PM They are nasty when they get into your garden. On the golf course down the hill from me, they shoot them with a pellet gun. They do this early in the morning before the course opens. There is always rat poisen...pepper spray maybe. Or...just get use to sharing your garden. Rated: +1Vote for this!
